Hospital CEO Learns to Cope with Change

A new competitor in town forced us to speed up the renovation of our hospital. I may be a good CEO, but I'm a lousy fundraiser for our capital campaign. I hated asking for money. All that changed with the Strategy Company. They helped me reframe this issue. Instead of asking for money, we strategized on growing my power base of "community investors." We role-played making the "ask" to target supporters. I quickly developed a new list of generous givers. Not only did we meet our campaign goal, but we are well on our way to set our best fundraising year ever!
