Organizations have cultures, distinct and often lasting. There are reasons why things were done the way they were. Don’t start removing fences when you don’t yet understand why they were put there in the first place.
A set of customs and norms may make perfect sense in a compact ecosystem untouched by the likes of you. Before you start switching things around, study, listen, and learn why things are done the way they are.
Human hierarchies are complex. Best to respond to them with respect and competency. Don’t cut things down before knowing why they grew that way first.
Don’t jump into action immediately. Think it through first.
